NATIONAL DARE TO BE KING TRAIN-THE-TRAINER RETREAT (Men Only)

A three day Train-the-Trainer Retreat for professionals who are doing intense work with adolescent boys of color. The Train-Trainer retreat will provide participants with an intense three day course focused on implementing the Dare To be King Curriculum. The Train-the-trainer course will deliver the following:

  • Learn how to implement the Dare To Be King Curriculum
  • Learn strategies to engage African American males around healthy decision making, impulse control & moral reasoning
  • Learn critical life skills facilitation techniques
  • Learn how to document positive outcomes among boys of color using the Dare To Be King Curriculum
The training will also incorporate several emotional, spiritual & physical challenges that the facilitators must complete. The training includes meals, training materials, lodging and activities.
